About Max's Restaurant, Cuisine of the Philippines

A well loved Filipino brand, serving authentic Philippine Cuisine in North America. Max's Restaurant is made famous by its signature, tender, juicy and crispy Max's Fried Chicken.

Located at 40-09 69th St, Flushing, NY 11377, Max's Restaurant, Cuisine of the Philippines operates as a filipino restaurant serving Flushing in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under asian restaurant, banquet hall, caterer, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Flushing, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. With 3.8 out of 5 on Google from 168 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for filipino restaurants in Flushing. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Flushing is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flushing follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Every Wednesday, I make a phone call for takeout, and Alaiza always answers the phone with excellent customer service. She is very attentive, professional, and always makes sure customers are well taken care of. I highly recommend her because she consistently delivers outstanding customer service. I will definitely come back again. They have the best halo-halo and Canton noodles I’ve ever tasted!

Ordered food for delivery for Mother’s Day - 1) It was ordered ahead of time because I wanted it to come ON TIME but you took forever and the DoorDash driver had to wait so long for you guys to finish the order. What was even the purpose of ordering ahead if it would still come late. 2) the bbq skewers - you guys need to fix your advertising online. You show a picture of 4 sticks of skewers for $6.50 and when it arrived, it turned out to be 1 stick for $6.50???? That is insanely overpriced. Plus, when I opened the package, it was not even packed carefully. It was dirty and uncared for. 3) the Pancit Canton looked β€œnice” and presentable but had no flavor??? It literally had no flavor. We had to recook the food just to add more flavor in it. 4) Dencio’s crispy sisig USED TO BE really crispy. What I got was NOT CRISPY & SOGGY sisig

Well, they got the recipe! Worcestershire sauce to go with their crispy fried chicken they are famous for! But, please less pork on your menu! After all, ur famous for the chicken not the Filipino pork based menu! I had to specially request my pancit without meat and pork broth ( they have a big pot of pork, chicken, beef broth altogether ).

The food was pretty good. Loved the Java fried rice and the halo halo. The serving sizes were good and the food good flavor. The downside is their vegetable menu section isn’t strictly vegetarian and a bit misleading - if you have dietary restrictions it is best to tell your waiter.
